For years MegaCorp has stood for only one thing..... and that was world domination! As the global economy has taken a turn for the worse, MegaCorp has found itself in the unenviable position of being a company that is too big to fail. For that reason we accepted TARP funds and have now found ourselves with an abundance of nearly interest free money!
We at MegaCorp have decided that the best thing to do is create a new division with this unexpected windfall.
Therefore... July 6, 2009 will be remembered for the rest of time as the day that the MegaCorp Vacation Club was officially introduced!
What is the MegaCorp Vacation Club? It is the realization of the founding fathers that since our affiliate program has been a resounding success that the best way to maintain a cohesive vision is to find a way to bring the affiliates together for a retreat once every two year . Our offices in Boise, Austin, New York, North Carolina, Fort Collins, Huntington Beach, Long Beach, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Temecula and the newest office... the MegaCorp corporate headquarters in Cypress, CA. will attempt to plan and carry out a retreat for Megacorp members and their families at a agreed upon location.
We feel that this will give our members the opportunity to reconnect with each other every couple of years and for their families to get to know each other better.
We welcome suggestions for a date and location. My personal suggestion is to visit Yellowstone National Park during the summer of 2011.
I will be posting updates from time to time and I encourage all of you to visit this site and contribute freely.

FYI- Temecula office is closing down. My family & I are moving back to the OC in 2 weeks. Hopefully there are job openings in the Huntington Office!

I guess I've actually been missing the insanity quite a lot... and I do have my original Megacorp employee ID still. What I REALLY want to know is if my husband will be issued an ID, too, if we agree to join this club. I just think it's a dealbreaker if he doesn't get one.
